Polycon 60C has the physical properties of a very tough, nylon like plastic that melts to a putty-like consistency at only 60°C. Polycon 60C’s specific heat and conductivity are low enough to handle with ease at this temperature, with little or no protection. This makes it ideal for small-scale modelling, part fabrication, repair of plastic objects and rapid prototyping where heat resistance is not needed.
Though molten, Polycon 60C readily sticks to many other plastics if the surface is cooled the stickiness can be minimized while still leaving the mass pliable.
Polycon 60C is non-toxic and biodegradable, making it an excellent product for home or business.
It can be used over and over again simply by heating.
The easiest way to melt Polycon 60C is in hot water but a microwave can also be used with care.
With polycon 60C you can form just about anything your imagination can come up with.
